The North American headquarters for the global company Ferraz Shawmut has changed its name to Mersen. 

According to Daniel Beaudron, vice president and general manager for
Mersen USA Newburyport-MA, LLC, the name change reflects the company’s
history and strategic direction.

Ferraz Shawmut has provided circuit protection solutions for over 12
years and since 1999 has been a part of Carbone Lorraine, an
international group based in Paris, France. Carbone Lorraine
specializes in providing materials for extreme environments and
solutions for electrical systems reliability and safety. It and all its
divisions have changed their name to Mersen.

MERSEN
