Field ID lockout/tagout module for web, smartphones and tablets

June 16, 2013 – Field ID unveiled a patent-pending lockout/tagout (LOTO) module that enables safety managers to use the web, smartphones and tablets to control LOTO procedures and ensure equipment, machinery and energy sources are properly locked out prior to any required servicing or maintenance. (VIDEO below) A smartphone or tablet with Field ID can guide employees through the process until proper lockout is complete, and keep safety managers up to date on critical safety statuses. Field ID developed the LOTO feature based on solutions offered by Master Lock Company LLC (N4 Systems Inc., the company behind Field ID, is part of Master Lock Canada Inc.).
