Finding “opportunity in the Cambridge area”

February 25, 2015 | By Anthony Capkun

February 25, 2015 – House of Electrical Supplies—an electrical distributor headquartered in Markham, Ont.—has opened a new branch in Cambridge, Ont., at 375 Sheldon Drive, Units 3-4.

“We saw an opportunity in the Cambridge area to deliver an exceptional customer experience, and having a specific focus on industrial, OEM, entertainment/generator and industrial contractor markets allows us to provide a dedicated and concentrated approach to a very competitive market segment,” said president Austin C. Brennan.

Leading the expansion outside the Greater Toronto Area is Western region sales manager Jim Wamsley. Reporting to Jim is Cambridge branch manager Dan Cowan, who has over 25 years of experience in the electrical wholesale business. The branch is just under 10,000 sf and sports a high-efficiency lighting system and a large training facility. It joins two other House of Electrical branches: Mississauga, Ont., and the Markham HQ.

“The Cambridge branch will maintain an excellent local inventory, with experienced local staff, and replicate the exceptional customer experience that has served the company so well in our other locations,” noted Wamsley.
