December 18, 2018 – Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) Systems recently launched a mobile app and web portal to help electrical contractors, electricians and thermography service professionals organize their thermal inspection data and client information.

As a workflow management tool, FLIR InSite is intended to reduce preparation time, increase the efficiency of inspections and deliver results promptly, along with visual demonstrations of the value of services for customers (sample screenshot pictured). Working with FLIR’s cameras, it can collect all images and data needed for an inspection report, to be shared through a secure client portal.

Available as a free download, the app includes a registry to organize client accounts, sites and assets. It can also help plan optimal inspection routes and connects with Meterlink-capable meters.
