November 6, 2013 – FLIR Systems has released its pocket-size, CAT IV-rated non-contact voltage detector, the VP50. Some of the key features of this new detector are its LED worklight, and the dual-LED convenience light at the probe tip for illuminating inspection targets.

The VP50 also boasts dual alarms to help alert the presence of voltage when working in noisy locations; high/low sensitivity modes; and a low-profile tip to help detect voltage on industrial equipment, low-voltage installations, and tamper-proof outlets.
