Flir has launched the CM65 clamp meter, designed for solar installation, maintenance and troubleshooting professionals.

Designed to accelerate and simplify photovoltaic (PV) panel testing and optimized for solar installers, the product has True RMS, LoZ and Millivolt modes to provide accurate testing capabilities.

It also features solar-industry standard MC4 connectors and non-invasive clamp-on current readings, which make DC voltage measurements on solar panel strings and inverters safer, more accurate and easier to perform. The CM65 clamp meter also allows users to monitor readings from a smartphone via the wireless MeterLink Connection to the Flir Tools mobile app.  The product features a backlit LCD screen, Bluetooth connectivity, 8 GB internal memory and is UL, CE and FCC-certified.
