Fluke Corp. has enhanced its bench digital multimeters. The 8808A 5.5 digit and 8845A/8846A 6.5 digit multimeters now include a USB-to-RS232 cable adapter, as well as FlukeView Forms Basic software. Fluke has also increased the warranty period to three years. The cable adapter converts the RS-232 serial port on the multimeters to a USB, allowing users to connect to a PC USB port. The software then users to document, store and analyze individual readings or series of measurements, and convert them into professional-looking documents. An optional version of the software—FlukeView Forms plus Designer—allows your to edit an existing form or create a new form to customize the report (like adding a company logo).
