September 11, 2014 – Thankfully, the deluge held off long enough for golfers to finish most of their holes. Founded just a year ago, the Electric Elle golf tournament continues to grow in numbers, attracting women of all ages who work in all areas of the electrical industry for 9+3 holes of Best Ball, followed by dinner and awards.
You don’t need to be a good golfer to participate, say organizers, and prizes are awarded for all skill levels, such as Closest to the Pin, Most Balls Lost and Best Shot onto the Wrong Hole.
The annual event is open to women working in all areas of the electrical industry—including electrical contracting, distribution and manufacturing. Don’t miss the opportunity next year to meet and network with other women in the industry and, most importantly, have fun. (Photos are post-tournament, during reception & dinner. Photos A. Capkun)
