GE Digital Energy Melanie Cook

Melanie Cook has been named general manager of GE Digital Energy’s communications product line. Based in Rochester, N.Y., she is responsible for the growth strategy, global operations and new technology development for this product line, which includes Microwave Data Systems (MDS) and Lentronics brands of products and services, which provide industrial networking solutions for customers.

“Melanie’s
leadership of the communications product line will be key as we
continue our investment in developing the highest quality,
mission-critical industrial communications and networking products for
our customers around the world,” said Larry Sollecito, president and
CEO, GE Digital Energy. “We are delighted to have Melanie join the
Digital Energy team.”




Cook
began her career with GE in 1995 in the Information Management
Leadership Program where she focused on data warehousing and IT
infrastructure in Asia. GE Digital Energy, a division of GE Enterprise
Solutions, is a global player in protection and control,
communications, power sensing and power quality solutions.
