GE Industrial bestows greater powers upon authorized channel partners

April 2, 2014 – Saying it’s a move to better serve industrial customers, GE’s Industrial Solutions business plans to strengthen its partnerships with authorized channel partners across Canada. Customers will now be able to access a complete range of GE Industrial products across all of the authorized GE Channel Partner locations.

“This move reinforces our commitment to strategic channel partners to develop expertise and resources in key geographies,” said Adrian Thomas, Canadian region executive for GE’s Industrial Solutions business. “This is the perfect time to approach the industrial market segment through local channels.”

In addition, GE has appointed two new sales agencies for its electrical distribution products:

Specialized Power Solutions, led by Herb Yang and Kevin Parlin, focusing on British Columbia and Alberta. Yang was the Western Canada sales director for GE, and Parlin was an industrial sales manager for GE in B.C.

• Gentech System Solutions Inc., led by Ajay Gupta (photo A. Capkun), focusing on Ontario and Alberta. Gupta was the Canadian channel director for GE Canada.
