GE names Stephanie Mains Industrial Solutions Business CEO

November 5, 2015 | By Renée Francoeur

November 5, 2015 – GE has named Stephanie Mains as CEO of its Industrial Solutions business, which is part of Energy Management. She succeeds Bob Gilligan, who recently announced his retirement from GE after 25 years with the company.

“Stephanie is a 26-year veteran at GE and brings a wealth of experience in finance, operations and business management with her,” said Russell Stokes, CEO of Energy Management. “I am confident her knowledge and expertise will enable her to be a strong leader of our Industrial Solutions business. She’ll be focused on enhancing the customer’s experience and driving toward our goal of being an industry leader.”

Prior to joining Industrial Solutions, Mains was the vice-president of Distributed Power Global Services for GE Power. During her two years in that role, she led the business to 19% revenue growth and tripled investment, the company said.

Mains first joined GE Transportation as part of the company’s Financial Management Program back in 1989 and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky.
