March 5, 2014 – GE’s Power Conversion business has launched an eCommerce app (online tool)—the Motor and Generator Store—that promises to make it easier for customers in Canada and the States to access key information, as well as quote and order products, and more.

“The new site has really made it easy to find the right product and quote out a customer with price and availability,” said Craig Bagdon, eCommerce manager, Dreisilker Electric Motors Inc. (one of GE’s distributors). The first release of this tool applies to standard and stock LV and MV motors. Those wishing to purchase custom or modified motors are encourage to continue using EliteNet. Both applications will run in parallel until the Motors and Generators Store is has the capability to successfully retire EliteNet.
