Generac Power Systems Inc. has introduced its CorePower System for homeowners; it boasts an all-weather composite enclosure and compact design. The 7kW system consists of a generator and transfer switch packaged together at a price point, says Generac, that is less than any other automatic standby generator and switch combination on the market. Additional features include: three of the four sides slide off for full serviceability access, and digital controller with LED light status and fault indicators. The 50A transfer switch features an 8-circuit load centre with breakers, and a 4-in. depth for flush mounting.
