February 17, 2022 – Genuine Cable Group—a provider of wire, cable and automation solutions—has acquired Allied Wire & Cable, a distributor of wire and cable products.

This combination creates a “premier, national value-added wire, cable and connectivity solutions provider to better service our customers and manufacturing partners,” says Genuine. Allied bolsters Genuine’s strength in the broader industrial OEM market, adds the company, and leverages the “value-added service and customer-oriented approach that has made the organization so successful to date”.

Allied serves end markets such as aerospace and defence, lighting, manufacturing, data centres, telecom, and general industrial.
