March 19, 2013 – Affiliated Distributors today congratulated Gerrie Electric Wholesale Ltd. on its success in raising $25,000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association (CDA) in 2012, as well as the continuous support they provide the CDA.

Throughout the year, Gerrie holds numerous fundraising initiatives—both corporately and regionally—including an annual golf tournament every year in support of CDA.

“Almost all our staff, our customers and our vendors, are connected to someone with diabetes,” said Elaine Gerrie, co-president & CEO. “By 2020, it is expected that 1 in 3 Canadians will be living with diabetes. We hope to bring awareness to this terrible, debilitating disease in our small way, and help bring some quality of life to children and adults suffering from it.”
