GE’s C90Plus maintains power during outages

June 19, 2013 | By Stephanie Lai

June 19, 2013 – GE has announced its C90Plus Automation Control System, which is designed to help industrial customers quickly and intelligently manage power in their plants when facing power outages. The C90Plus—using a logic engine to manage complex load shedding schemes—includes set-up software, which can reduce installation, maintenance and operating costs, says GE. The C90Plus is scalable for both small and large operations and can be integrated into an existing energy management system or SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system. It also is available as a sub-solution for power management control systems.
