February 24, 2016 – The ArcGuard Active 40 cal/cm2 suit, the new addition to National Safety Apparel’s ArcGuard arc flash PPE line, is made from a lightweight flame resistant and arc rated fabric.  

The 40-cal arc flash garments have a tagless collar, exterior labelling, and moisture wicking properties. The product is also now offered in an arc flash kit, which includes ArcGuard Active 40 cal/cm2 jacket and pant, ArcGuard compliance hood with hard hat, class 2 rubber voltage gloves, 12-in. leather glove protectors, safety glasses, glove bag, faceshield bag and a large gear bag.

Both the suit and kits meet ASTM F1506-10a.
