December 3, 2014 – Graybar Canada reports its Markham Branch has earned ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification. “Becoming ISO 9001:2008 certified is another step in showing our commitment to effectiveness, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement,” said branch manager Geoff Reid.

ISO explains the standard sets out the criteria for a quality management system, which is based on a number of principles such as strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

The Markham Branch will now, in turn, be able to fulfil this requisite for customers that have adopted requirements for certification. Graybar Canada is an employee-owned wholesale distributor headquartered in Halifax, N.S.
