July 8, 2015 – Greenlee Communications has introduced its newest additions to the coaxial maintenance kits, with the professional coax cable tool kits (46602 and 46603).

These two kits have been designed for the professional CATV cable installer to reproduce the “exact same high-quality connections, every time,” Greenlee said.

There are two versions of the kit, one equipped to cut short style RG59/6 “F” connectors (46602), and another for long style RG59/6 “F” connectors (46603). Each kit is equipped to cut, strip, terminate, and tighten coax connectors based on highly engineered specifications, the company said. They both contain 8-in. diagonal cutting pliers with laser-hardened edges and chrome-vanadium steel construction.

The kits are also equipped with the RG 59/6/6Q-7/11 coaxial cable strippers and a Velcro pad to pull back insulators.

The 6-in-1 multi-tool driver is also included, offering a multi-bit screwdriver, along with a LED water-resistant penlight. In addition, the combo ratcheting closed and open-ended 7/16-in. torque wrench is provided, engineered to tighten connectors up to 30 in.-lb, all fitted to the custom grip pack with quick release belt clip.
