Greenlee, a Textron Inc., says it has improved its NETcat Pro2 (NC 500), a digital wiring troubleshooter for voice, data and video (VDV) cables, wiring and service designed especially for “technicians responsible for installation and maintenance of VDV networks at home or in offices.” The updated product now enables end-users to identify active network devices on 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet (802.3) networks and Power over Ethernet (PoE) cables. A memo pad with reminder features in non-volatile memory and a field replaceable “F” type connector is also included.
