Halco Lighting Technologies has added ceramic discharge metal halide (cdMH) lamps to its ProLume product line. These lamps promise good colour rendering, energy efficiency and long life. With elevated CRI, high lumen maintenance and efficacy of up to 93 lumens/W, these lamps provide “optimum light output, producing vibrant and precise colour”. Halco’s ProLume cdMH lamps have a life of up to 16,000 hours (average rated life) and maintain light quality throughout the life of the lamp. Plus, says Halco, they are up to five times more efficient than halogen lamps, creating savings in lamp replacement and operating expenses.
