August 9, 2016 – Hammond Manufacturing’s cabinets now come in taller offerings. The 1422 and HN4FM series are 90-in. versions of the two door, floor-standing cabinets and the 1418 and HN4FS series is the single door, freestanding option. All are available in either painted mild steel or 304 or 316L stainless steel construction.

These custom 90-in. high-painted steel models are approved to UL/CSA Type 4 and the stainless steel versions to UL/CSA Type 4X.
 
“The complexity of today’s electrical equipment requires more control and monitoring equipment,” Hammond Manufacturing says, meaning more space is needed.

The greater surface area of the taller cabinets also improves conduction, the company adds, which reduces required cooling capacity, saving initial cost and ongoing energy needs.
