Hammond Mfg PCJ family of polycarbonate enclosures

February 12, 2013 – Hammond Manufacturing has launched its PCJ series of polycarbonate enclosures designed for housing electrical and electronic equipment in installations where NEMA 4X (IP66) environmental sealing for dust and water protection is required. An initial five sizes, ranging from 5.93-in. x 6.16-in. x 4.91-in. to 13.94-in. x 12.16-in. x 10.82-in. are available; the basic enclosure can be supplied in 80 different configurations to suit the intended application. The PCJ series can be specified with hinged or screw-down front covers in either opaque or transparent polycarbonate, available with either mounting flange or adjustable feet to suit different mounting configurations. Hole plug assemblies, based on standard conduit sizes from 0.5-in. to 4.0-in., are set to be introduced in the future.
