April 12, 2022 – Hammond Manufacturing’s new HYJ Series 304 stainless steel enclosures are designed for use in areas where maintaining hygiene standards and avoiding contamination build-up are critical.

The enclosures meet UL 508A Type 3R, 12, 4 and 4X, NSF – ANSI 169 and IEC 60529 IP69/IP69K, and withstand regular high-temperature, high-pressure washdown.

The family is currently available in five sizes, and all units can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. The blue-coloured silicone gasket is fitted beyond the cover edges, and it is easily removable for cleaning or replacement.

Hammond also launched the complementary HYPB pushbutton family for machine and process control.
