Hammond Power Solutions names Michael Frayne director of marketing

February 2, 2012 – Hammond Power Solutions (HPS), a manufacturer of dry-type transformers and magnetics, has named Michael Frayne as its new director of marketing, where he will be responsible for overseeing all marketing functions across the HPS Americas organization. He will help support the sales and growth of existing markets, as well as define the products and strategies that will be developed for new targeted markets.
“We are very pleased to have Michael join the HPS team,” said Bill Hammond, chairman and CEO of HPS. “Michael Frayne’s comprehensive understanding of the Automation and Electrical Industries will greatly benefit HPS, our sales network, and our customers.”
With over 25 years of industry experience in marketing, engineering and project management, Frayne has previously worked for Siemens, Rockwell Automation, and Molex (Woodhead/SST).
He holds a B.E.Sc. (Electrical) from Western University and an M.B.A. from York University.
