December 31, 2012 – Hanwha Solar, a provider of solar energy solutions, has entered a distribution partnership with HES-PV, a Canadian wholesale distributors of solar products and equipment to “expand Hanwha Solar’s distribution channel and strengthen its commitment to the residential and small commercial market”, said the companies.

HES will add Hanwha Solar’s made in Ontario Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) compliant modules, as well as the full range of Hanwha’s international product line for Canadian solar projects.

“We are partnering with HES because of its leadership and commitment to the Canadian solar market,” said Doug Urban, managing director of Hanwha Solar Canada. “HES has a reputation as the most trusted distributor in the industry. Hanwha is the number one name in module bankability, quality and warranty. This partnership is a natural fit and together we bring long term value to our clients’ solar projects.”

“We are very impressed with Hanwha Solar, both for the quality of their products, and for their commitment to the PV industry,” added Dave Egles, president of HES-PV. “We feel that Hanwha will add stability of supply and bring industry leading products to the volatile Ontario marketplace. The installers and end users across Canada will benefit from a reliable, powerful solution for their solar projects.
