July 16, 2014 – Patrick (Pat) Haughey—formerly general manager of GE Lighting Canada—has joined Medgar Lighting Concepts Inc. in the newly created position of distribution sales manager.

According to Medgar, Pat has over 30 years of experience in the lighting industry, and has held “key positions with two of the largest global lighting manufacturers”. Besides his 17-year stint at GE, Pat also spent 13 years with Osram Sylvania.

“Pat will lead our sales efforts with our key channel partners to ensure long-term sales growth,” says Medgar. “His industry knowledge and experience will help drive our success within the dynamic lighting market.”
