Hitachi Cable Manchester has announced that it is the first cable manufacturer to receive TIA 568-C.2 verification from Underwriters Laboratories, an independent product safety certification organization. The verification, which covers all Category 5e, 6 and 6A copper communications cables, demonstrates that the cables meet the performance requirements of the TIA standard. The 568-C family of standards is replacing the 568-B family, which was released in 2001, as well as all subsequent addenda.
