February 8, 2023 By Anthony Capkun

February 8, 2023 – During its Small Business Health & Safety Forum, Ontario’s WSIB announced the winners of its 2022 Business Health & Safety Leadership Awards. Congratulations to the following:
GOLD ($10,000 award) – JUST WORKING CONSTRUCTION
Based in the Waterloo region, Just Working Construction Inc. provides newcomers to Canada employment so they can “re-learn the trades”. To build health & safety into their business culture, the team started to have daily, weekly and monthly health & safety meetings. New policies and procedures are translated to ensure understanding.

Now in its 5th consecutive year, WSIB’s Business Health & Safety Leadership Awards recognize the health & safety achievements of independently owned and operated businesses with fewer than 50 employees.
