HellermannTyton’s Ratchet P clamp for heavy-duty applications

September 2, 2016 – The Ratchet P clamp, a patent-pending cable bundle and wire management solution from HellermannTyton, is suited for heavy equipment, OEM and automotive manufacturers and solar photovoltaic system service providers.

The one-piece PA66 nylon solid body and stamped metal mounting plate is engineered to streamline wire harness installation, comes in four sizes and in multiple mounting configurations.

Ratchet P Clamp’s adjustable ratchet mechanism is operated manually, clicking as it closes to signal that it is secure. It also can be closed with a HellermannTyton EVO series hand tool, using an optional tension tab. The clamp is then released by inserting a small flat-head screwdriver between the ratchet rails and pushing down.
