Incorporating four rugged cutting edges, the carbide head’s special design helps prevent catching or jamming on rebar to extend the life of the bit, says Hilti, adding that the bits were designed for drilling holes for medium to heavy-duty anchors in the 3/16” to 1” range in concrete, masonry and other natural materials.
