June 8, 2015 – The new Hilti Intumescent firestop sealant FS-ONE MAX is an improved version of the Firestop sealant FS-ONE, according to Hilti.

It still includes the features of the FS-ONE but now provides for better handling and longer shelf life, Hilti said. This new W-rated, multi-purpose formulation means the product can be used in a variety of base materials including concrete, masonry, and drywall. It is available in multiple package types (tubes, foil packs and buckets) and has a 12-month shelf life from date of manufacture.

It is also now ethylene glycol free and has low VOC content.
