Hilti in North America had reason(s) to celebrate

July 13, 2015 | By Anthony Capkun

July 13, 2015 – In Texas, Hilti North America recently celebrated with grand openings at its Western Hemisphere Product Development & Tool Service Centre and North America Corporate HQ.

At over 65,000 sf, the service centre facility in Irving, Texas, houses the Product Development & Testing Lab, and the second-largest Hilti Tool Service Centre in North America, says the company.

“This new facility represents the next step in growing our Hilti North America presence over the next decade,” said Hilti’s Cary Evert. “The further strengthening of our service network and product development capabilities ensures that Hilti will continue to provide innovative solutions to our customers that drive productivity on the jobsite.”

The facility serves two main purposes: certified technicians perform tool repairs and maintenance, laser calibrations, and battery checks; engineers, designers and product specialists develop, test and provide customer support for fire protection, anchoring and direct fastening products and applications.
