June 13, 2011 – Hilti says it has unveiled the world’s first compact cordless drill that is tough enough for a two-year wear-and-tear warranty‚ featuring 100% all-metal gears for longer tool life and greater reliability. The SFC 18-A CPC Compact Cordless Drill Driver weighs 3.7 lbs and delivers 1,800 RPM in second gear. Casings for the batteries and tools are glass-fiber reinforced and protected by rubber sections‚ giving them the ability to withstand hard, every day jobsite use, says Hilti.
