November 27, 2012 – Hilti says its new TE 2-A18 compact rotary tool is the first compact SDS plus tool on the market that drills like a corded tool. Users can choose the TE 2-A18 compact rotary hammer for lighter weight or the TE 2-A18 rotary hammer drill for more run time, adds Hilti. Both models include a LED light, and are best suited for drilling anchor holes or through holes in concrete, brick and block with an optimum drilling diameter range of 3/16-in. to 3/8-in.
