March 5, 2015 – Horizon Utilities recently took home the Gold MARCOM award for its “Just Ask Us” conservation campaign.
The company provides electricity and related utility services to 240,000 customers in Hamilton and St. Catharines, Ont. Its “Just Ask Us” customer engagement campaign was designed to encourage customers to be proactive in energy conservation. “Just Ask Us” urged customers to call on energy savings experts to help find solutions to reduce energy use and save money.
Horizon Utilities beat out 6,500 other entries from Canada, the United States and 15 other countries to take home the gold.
“Winning this award is a tremendous honour for Horizon Utilities. Our focus on being easy to do business with, is contributing to greater customer engagement,” said Eileen Campbell, vice-president of customer services. “We take great pride in engaging our customers and helping them reduce their energy use while saving money.”
