(Updated May 3, 2012) May 2, 2012 – Kevin Mallory, vice-president & general manager Hubbell Canada LP, announced the promotion of Dave Syer (Photo 1) to vice-president, Marketing and Sales for Hubbell Canada. “In his new role, Dave will assume overall marketing and sales responsibility for all of the brands promoted by Hubbell Canada LP, including the Hubbell Electrical Systems and Hubbell Lighting brands,” said Mallory.

Meantime, Debbie Drozda (Photo 3) has been appointed to director Strategic Services, Hubbell Electrical Systems, Shelton, Conn. She will oversee the platform’s environmental health and safety initiatives, business compliance and assist with acquisition integration at the corporate level. “Debbie has a strong, well-rounded background, and has been an asset to the Hubbell Canada LP organization for over 15 years,” stated Mallory.

Finally, Steve Irvine (Photo 2) has been promoted to operations manager. “Steve is a diverse operations professional possessing strong skill sets across all aspects of operations and facilities management,” said Mallory. His responsibilities have been expanded to include engineering, quality and manufacturing at the Pickering facility, and he will play a role in expanding the product and service footprint.
