Hubbell’s Keith Rodel scores prestigious John Jenkins Award

April 11, 2016 – Hubbell Canada LP reports its codes & standards manager, Keith Rodel, has been selected to receive CSA Group’s John Jenkins Award for 2016. Congratulations!

“[Keith] has shown sustained commitment to our organization, and a strong passion for the promotion of many important positive changes to national and international codes and standards initiatives,” said Kevin Mallory, Hubbell Canada’s vice-president & general manager.

Rodel participates on numerous committees with CSA Group, Electro-Federation Canada (EFC), the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), CANENA, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

He chairs the CSA Technical Committee on Wiring Products; chairs EFC’s Wiring Supplies Section; chairs Canadian Mirror Committees to IEC TC 23, SC 23B and SC 23H.

The John Jenkins Award is CSA’s most prestigious, recognizing an individual’s “distinguished service in the development, advancement and application of voluntary standards”.

“He achieved all of this in strong cooperation with his peers and industry stakeholders who share a common vision to progressively move the industry forward safely, effectively and with consensus,” added Mallory.
