ICT training trifecta via BICSI Learning Academy

August 27, 2014 | By Anthony Capkun

August 27, 2014 – BICSI—an association supporting the information & communications technology (ICT) industry—is rebranding its professional development offering into the BICSI Learning Academy which, according to BICSI, allows it to provide “better, more focused training to fit its customer’s needs”.

Made up of three facets, the academy lets students choose where and how they receive training.

BICSI World HQ offers courses onsite at its Tampa, Fla., headquarters, with a training area that includes three classrooms covering topics such as design, installation and project management. The entire training suite is also available at facilities around the world via BICSI Local, where they are set up with a mobile lab and technical equipment to provide an educational experience comparable to HQ. BICSI Local also includes onsite courses. Rounding out the trifecta is with online training via BICSI Connect.

“We hope the launch of the BICSI Learning Academy will help to educate those already in the industry, as well as new individuals, so that we may continue to advance and mould the future of ICT,” said BICSI president Michael Collins.
