January 22, 2013 – Ideal Industries has introduced a two-piece offset kit, claiming to provide improved access to hard-to-reach fasteners. Designed for use when a straight screwdriver can’t reach around an obstruction or into a tight work space, the 90º-, double-ended offsets are available in three tip sizes in Phillips and slotted designs. The new offsets are forged from custom heat-treated tool steel. According to Ideal, the two-piece offset screwdrivers compliments the company’s Combo Head, 21-in-1 Twist-a-Nut and Twist-a-Nut Pro screwdrivers, and 33-piece Quick Change screwdriver set.
