November 16, 2014 – Ideal’s telephone/data splice and repair kit (#33-719) features the Kinetic Super wire stripper that lets you alternate between stripping, cutting and crimping 22-24 AWG twisted-pair cables to prepare IDC splices (incl. Ideal and UR-I, UY-I, UB-I IDC connectors) with a single tool.

In addition to the tool, the kit also has a bonus 25 IDC connectors (UR-I, 3-wire butt splice). The tool has a moulded Santoprene handle and Thumb-Valley finger guide for comfort, along with a cushioned, textured grip. The Pocket-Locket locking hasp promotes safe handling and storage, says Ideal, as it automatically slides to lock the stripper into the engagement position when placed into a pocket or pouch.
