September 19, 2013 – Ideal Industries says that by using its new Ideal PowerBlade cable cutter drill attachment, users will be equipped with a tool capable of cutting thick MCM cables quickly and cleanly.

The tool, according to the company, provides am alternative to exhausting long-arm cable cutters, undependable ratcheting cutters, or complex and costly hydraulic versions. Users can install the attachment like a drill bit on various corded or uncorded drill with a 3/8-in drive shaft, with enough force to cut through up to 750 MCM hard-drawn copper cable or up to 1000 MCM aluminum cable.
