Ideal Industries has introduced a line of RG-59 and RG-6 Plenum BNC connectors featuring nickel-plated brass construction for corrosion resistance and field durability. Engineered exclusively for CCTV system installations, these 75-ohm connectors cover dual-shield plenum-rated coax with a compression-style sleeve that adapts securely to a range of outer jacket cable diameters. The tight fit prevents detachment from CCTV cameras, monitors or DVRs, and prevents moisture ingress. Gold-plated centre and outer contacts provide good electrical performance, says Ideal, with a frequency range of up to 3 GHz. meantime, coloured cable bands allow for easy coding of video signals.
