Ideal SpliceLine connectors promise to save wiring time
October 23, 2014 | By Alyssa Dalton
October 23, 2014 – The SpliceLine in-line wire connector from Ideal Industries claims to reduce time and cost for pre-fab shops and electricians.
Designed to be an alternative to traditional butt splices, its push-in design promises to eliminate time-consuming crimping, soldering or heat shrinking for end-to-end connections. Ideal says the connector installs in seconds on a wide range of wires with push-in ease, and can also be used to lengthen wires in tight spaces that are physically too short. Its shell is precision-moulded from a transparent polycarbonate that permits visual inspection of connections, adds the company.
