September 21, 2011 – Glenn Hollister has left his position as group vice-president/general manager of Ideal Industries Inc.’s Electrical Division to launch a newly formed division of Ideal that focuses on the health & safety market.

Hollister has been a member of Ideal since 1974, serving the company in a series of positions of increasing responsibilities. He held several sales and marketing positions before being appointed general manager of the company’s Canadian subsidiary and, later, as vice-president of marketing at Ideal’s HQ in Sycamore, Ill.

He next assumed the role of vice-president/general manager of the Test & Measurement division. In 2007, Hollister became VP/GM of the Wire Termination group, then was promoted to Group VP/GM of the Electrical Division in 2009.
