IHSA launches Certificate of Recognition program

July 9, 2012 | By Alyssa Dalton

July 9, 2012 – The Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) is now offering the Certificate of Recognition (COR), a nationally recognized health and safety certification program. It provides employers with an effective health and safety management system with the goal of eliminating incidents, injuries and illnesses. COR is aimed at driving positive workplace behaviours and practices that lead to improved performance and is currently being used across Canada and is supported by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA). In some provinces and territories, it is a pre-qualification requirement for contractors working in and out of the province and on public- and private-sector projects.
