November 15, 2012 - The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) recently released a standards roadmap to support the building of Canada’s smart grid. The report is the product of two years of work performed by the Task Force on Smart Grid Technology and Standards: a group of industry and government experts from across Canada under the oversight of Natural Resources Canada and the Canadian National Committee to the International Electrotechnical Commission (CNC/IEC).

The website also features various energy savings calculators and a guide to energy incentives, rebates and financing across Canada. The goal of BlueWay.ca, says Sonepar, is to foster change by being a reliable resource about electricity consumption and related information for any interested parties.
