Oct. 4, 2018 – Captain Electric, a licensed electrical contractor servicing the eastern Greater Toronto Area (GTA), has won a 2018 Ontario Electrical Safety Award in the consumer and home category from the province’s Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).
October 1, 2018 – Ontario’s Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), which regulates the activities of electrical contractors and related professionals, has designated today, October 1, as Home Electrical Safety Day, a new province-wide day of action to prevent electrical injuries in people’s homes.
September 27, 2018 - Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) announced it has paid off its $14.2-billion unfunded liability (UFL) almost 10 years ahead of its legislated schedule, allowing it to reduce average premium rates by 29.8% in 2019.
