November 20, 2013 - EBMag’s associate editor, Alyssa Dalton, has just returned (after 15 hours of flying!) from an exclusive press tour in Taiwan to visit select LED lighting manufacturers, as part of a pre-show press conference of Taiwan International Lighting Show (TILS) 2014. As the only North American media present, EBMag was pleased to learn about the LED industry in Taiwan, as well as in Asia as a whole, and how these manufacturers predict the industry will change in the coming years.

June 5, 2013 - Thanks to Ron Oberth and Marina Oeyangen, EBMag had the opportunity to check out OCI’s (Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries) OPG Suppliers Day, where vendors were on hand to offer solutions to the numerous delegates that showed up. OCI is an association of over 170 Canadian suppliers to the nuclear industry. Member companies employ around 30,000 skilled people who manufacture major equipment and components—and provide engineering services and support—for the 20 CANDU nuclear power plants in Canada, as well as CANDU and other nuclear plants offshore.
