February 9, 2018 — Legrand’s 42-in. Plastic Enclosure (ENP4250) is transparent to radio frequencies to enable placement of wireless devices into traditional structured wiring installations without interference or reduction of signal coverage.

Made with durable ABS plastic, the enclosure features a universal mounting grid that the company says maximizes its compatibility with third-party products without requiring additional brackets. The enclosure can also be used for surface- or recess-mounted applications. Extra venting along the door for heat dissipation and staggered mounting tabs allow multiple enclosures to mount in adjacent stud bays. The product also features an extended cover that adds 1.2-in. of depth for cable headroom and third-party device flexibility, with a metal hinge that attaches to the right or left side of the enclosure without requiring tools.
